The newly acquired land is valued at $1.9 million and consists of:

Naikoon Park (Haida Gwaii): 64 hectares of an inholding (land surrounded by present park) that comprises old-growth forest positioned deep contained in the park.

Wells Grey Park (close to Clearwater): 33.25 hectares of an inholding that comprises wetlands, superior second-growth forest and habitat for black bears, moose, deer, birds and small mammals.

Gladstone Park (close to Grand Forks): 8.28 hectares that comprises a preferred native swimming space often called the potholes. The addition will assist enhance the prevailing path community and connectivity by the park.

Bowron Lake Park (close to Quesnel): Three hectares of an inholding on a forested hillside above Bowron Lake. The addition will contribute to the range of the park’s panorama, together with lower-elevation mature spruce, subalpine fir and western purple cedar forests.

Mount Pope Park (close to Fort St. James): 0.15 hectares to attach the prevailing climbing space to a deliberate parking/turnaround house on the prevailing street.
